It’s relatively easy to create HTML banners with exit events in the Google Web Designer and upload those banners in Google Ad Manager as HTML5 creatives by following to official instructions. Google seeks for exit events on the uploading process, and in a successful result, it accepts that HTML banner. But HTML banners with exit events don’t work with custom creative templates because Google doesn’t allow to upload HTML banners in creative templates. Publishers are seeking for ad placements with higher CTR and viewability constantly. At this moment, one of the ad formats which becomes more and more popular is the in-article format.
Since Friday (April 20) not working import/export functionality in DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) ad-server. This is the first time when DFP has such a problem in last few years. We had to find a fast solution to provide a possibility to install purchased templates for our clients. We found and implemented. 🙂
We are proud to announce that we have reached our first significant milestone last week – sold the 100th template for DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP). It’s much for us, and we are very thankful to every our client for the trust shown.
Occasionally we should create video banners from YouTube video links for DoubleClick for Publishers. There are no special requirements for video banners, just play YouTube video in a loop and with a sound button. The sound is disabled by default of course.
First sold DFP (DoubleClick for Publishers) template was in November 2016. This year is first full year for this project, called Genecy.
One of our clients asked for a custom creative template that looks good on its websites and can increase CTR. Publishers steadily are seeking ways to improve CTR (click-through rate) to increase revenue from advertising.
