First sold DFP (DoubleClick for Publishers) template was in November 2016. This year is first full year for this project, called Genecy.
I have to say that this is the side project. But in spite of that, we have worked hard on new templates for DoubleClick for Publishers and updates. Reasons why we started this project you can read here.
Here are stats for 2017:
- four new rich media templates (Expander, Baselayer, Parallaxer and Catfisher);
- 28 updates with new features and bug fixes, that’s two updates per month;
- helped on more than 40 support tickets.
We are improving this project steadily, and we are selling our DFP templates with proud. We are happy to hear kind words from customers and to know that every client using our templates successfully. We had released customisation system for most DFP templates also.
What to expect in 2018 from us?
We will release new templates and update current. We have plans to release a new version of customisation system that allows change order of fields, disable unnecessary fields, etc. Changes will be in pricing model also – one license for single DFP account. Therefore if you would like to use our DFP template on two DFP accounts, you should buy two licenses (this doesn’t affect current customers). At the same time, we will introduce bundle with all DFP templates included at a much lower price. And we are working on some useful tools such as a tool that updates zipped HTML5 banner with “clickTag” to meet DFP requirements. Lot of work for this year.
